The Sandford Award recognises and promotes quality and excellence in education provision by sites across Great BritainEducation at Bramall Hall

Bramall Hall, Hat Works and Staircase House have received the Sandford Award:
The Sandford Award recognises and promotes quality and excellence in education provision by sites across Great Britain

The fine combination of Tudor and Victorian architecture and life is reflected in the programmes for schools at Bramall Hall. Sessions are available for Key Stage 1, 2 and 3, and can be adapted to the needs of GCSE and post-16 students. We also cater for Early Years Foundation groups, and all of our sessions can be adapted for pupils with Special Educational Needs.

Outreach
We also offer a comprehensive outreach programme – we bring the Hall to your classroom! Acknowledging that the cost of school trips can be very high, we have developed sessions that can be delivered in school to allow as many pupils as possible to benefit from the learning we can offer.

INSET Days
We can offer whole school or department INSET Days covering the sessions we offer at Bramall Hall, as well as literacy, history and drama/role play. This can be done in school or on site. We can also help you to prepare for taking a group to an historic site so that you are able to get the most out of a visit.

Bramall Hall is the holder of the prestigious Sandford Award for Heritage Education – a national award which recognises high quality provision for schools at museums and galleries.

For further information on Outreach or INSET, or to discuss a visit to Bramall Hall please contact the Education Team on 0161 488 4286.
