The Civil Marriage Ceremony

The Civil Marriage Ceremony can be formal or traditional

You can choose to enhance your ceremony with music, poetry or readings (non-religious).

An image of the Great HallThe ceremony will take place in the impressive surroundings of the Great Hall. You are welcome to invite up to 75 guests to share you special day.

Ceremonies can be booked on any Saturday and at other times by special arrangement.

Ceremonies can take place at the following times:

11.30am: departing at 1pm
4.15pm: departing at 6pm
5.15pm: departing at 7pm

Civil Marriage Ceremony Hire Fee:
Weekend:
£935.00
Weekday: £525.00
This includes hire of the ceremony room, 3 floral arrangements (neutral colour scheme with the exception of Bramall Hall's Christmas decorations), music of your choice (non-religious).

Drinks Reception
Celebrate your marriage in style following the ceremony with a drinks reception (courtyard optional), whilst having your photographs taken.

The Registrar

All arrangements for the ceremony itself are made directly between the couple to be married and the Registrar, who will deal with all the legalities of the marriage. Any readings or music requested must be agreed in advance and be of a non-religious content.
Please note: Registrar has to be booked independently.

Please note all prices are subject to increase on 1 April each year.
